Fitted under strapping at the corners of a pallet or carton stack to stop the strap cutting into the product as it’s tensioned down. Without an edge protector, strap tension concentrates on the corner and can crush, crease, or slice into cartons, board, or product edges — this spreads that load out so the strap does its job without damaging what’s underneath it.
